confused about niqab.

I was converted ten years ago. alhamdlilallah I am doing fine. I have been wearing hijab, head covering, since then.. But recently, I started to confuse about hijab. Confusion is .. so called niqab. I searched lots of opinions about niqab. I found two kinds of opinion....

Hijab is just for head covering and hijab is including niqab. Should muslim women cover the face also? Some people tells covering the face is strange behavior in the US ,and covering face will effect for Dawah in the US.

I am really confused. I sometimes feels the necessity of covering face, but sometimes I feel covering the face is too much impact to the general public in the US.

If someone can give me the opinion what I am confused. I appreciate... thanks
