Encyclopedia of Orient - Niqab

Based on the definition by Enclopedia of Orient, Niqab is a type of extremely conservative dress used by some Muslim women, which hides most of the face of the women, usually only showing the eyes. A niqab may also come to cover everything, yet with a semi-transparent fabric over the eyes.

I wear a veil (niqab) whenever the situation permitted me to do so. I will only take off my niqab when I really have no choice. There are many controversy regarding wearing niqab in public places.
